GUMDROP WREATH
candywreathforsite.jpg

As you'll see when I get the holiday decoration pictures loaded, I did my kitchen in a candy and gumdrop theme this year.  I have two bifold doors, side by side in my kitchen.  One leads to my pantry, the other to my laundry area which also has my dishwasher, garbage can and microwave in it.  I ALWAYS have something hanging on these doors, but I didn't have anything to hang there for Christmas.  So this is what I came up with!

One willow or grape vine wreath, size of your choice (I used a small willow wreath I purchased at the Dollar Tree)
Gumdrop garland, or garland of your choice
Ornament of your choice - I used a "cookie" gingerbread man (pictured) on one wreath and a "cookie" snowman on the other.
 Glue gun or craft glue

Using a small amount of glue, glue beginning of garland to wreath.  Wrap garland tightly around wreath.  When you reach the area where the garland begins, add another small amount of glue and clip extra garland off.  Hold in place for a rew minutes while glue sets.  Glue ornament hanger -  mine came with ribbon on them - to front underside of top of wreath and hold a few minutes until set, then "flip" ornament over top of wreath so it hangs from behind.

Of course use your imagination, you can use any kind of ribbon, garland, ornaments, etc. to decorate these - for Christmas or any time of the year.
