MATERIALS:

Small amount of WW yarn, color of your choice

28 pony beads in coordinating color

Size G crochet hook

Begin by stringing 28 pony beads onto your skein of yarn. You'll be pulling these into your work as you go, so leave a long enough "tail" to start your crocheting without the beads interfering. Tie a double knot at the beginning end of your yarn so they don't slide off.

ROW 1; Chain 29. Slide one bead down to chain, chain 1, slip stitch ine next chain. Slide down 1 bead, chain 1, slip stitch into next chain across. After using the last bead, slip stitch into last chain and fasten off.

Make fringe for each end of book mark by using 8 strands of yarn and wrapping them around your hand. Cut bottom ends to make the fringe. Using 4 strands for each end of bookmark, attach fringe in the usual fashion.
