Towel hanger

KITCHEN TOWEL HANGER
christmastowelforsite.jpg
This is my own pattern

While this pattern is my own, I have to admit the idea isn't.  I saw these at a church craft sale, thought "why didn't I think of that?"  and came home and made my own.

One kitchen towel - DO NOT CUT IN HALF
One elastic ponytail holder to coordinate with towel
One small button
Small amount of yarn to coordinate with towel
Size G crochet hook

ROW 1:  Using G hook, crochet 10 single crochets around elastic ponytail holder.  Chain 2, turn.
ROWS  2-10:  Double crochet in each stitch across.  Chain 2, turn.  At end of row 10 fasten off.

Attach button on first double crochet row between stitches 5 and 6.  Slip towl through elastic ponytail holder.  Wrap holder around stove handle and button to secure.
